Indy Cologne
Just found an interesting item listed on eBay.
RE: Vintage Indiana Jones Cologne with original box.
Did a search here and only found a couple of references a while back, but there seemed to be some interest and few resources.
The seller has over 30, so hopefully there will be no bidding war! You can find them by a simple search under "Indiana Jones Perfume."
I have no idea how it smells, but it's a nice collectors item.

And dirt. Lots, and lots, of dirt.
Re: Indy Cologne
I always thought that Indy smelled like a combination of Smoke, Whiskey, Sweat, Blood and mostly and ironically so; after shave (Old Spice).

Well, it depends. If you're after Tunisia Indy, he probably smelled like dysentery.

Re: Indy Cologne
I can see it now...A department store made of stone and brick...the perfume department resembles the grail room...a man walks up to the counter, picks up a bottle of cologne...*spritz* *spritz*....DUN DUN DuuHHHH.....he turns to a pile of skeletal ash...
The store clerk turns...
"He chose.....poorly..."
Turn camera to a shiny bottle of Indy Cologne...
"Jones Colognes....The heart and soul of adventure....."

Re: Indy Cologne
Received the bottle today. The smell is unique, with a strong hint of cedar, bourbon, spicy, leather and old wood. (The previous scent guesses were quite close!) Not sure I would wear it. I cannot compare it to any other cologne. Hard to tell if the scent has changed from the original, but the bottles are likely 8+ years old. (?) The base is castor oil, making it a strong, long lasting scent. Regardless it's a cool collectors item and looks interesting on the "Indy" shelf.

A couple of us down at my fire department suggested we bottle the smell of a fire house. Sweat and smoke.

Re: Indy Cologne
Yes, I've heard of this before.
I told Chewie that I think that Indy would smell like a cross between aftershave, leather and sweat (which is not a bad thing as sweat contains pheromones which makes people attractive to the opposite sex).

Re: Indy Cologne
You can find them for about $14.00 on eBay under a search of "Indiana Jones Perfume." The last time I checked, he had plenty, but we all know how that goes.bruce wayne wrote:I cannot seem. to find the cologne. could someone point me in the right direction?

It looks like they have after shave and cologne on there. Interesting... I really want to know what this smells like. It can't be that good...

Re: Indy Cologne
I was thinking it might smell like Bay Rum... which was pretty popular back in the day.
