The 'holy goat' behaves very much like Neutron has described the vintage goat, but now I find it considerably softer and drapier than when I first wore it.

Beautiful! Tony said the vintage goat is based off of the holy goat, so they should share similar characteristics.

Yeah, maybe they do. The vintage seems to be quite distressed too, and that gives it lots of character.

The vintage is a nicer color. I have samples of the goats and the "vintage/son of" are closer to the 35 year old goat Han Jones and I have. Less of the eggplant undertones.

Yeah. The 'holy goat' does have a redish hue/undertone that doesn't appear in the pictures, I don't know why. Maybe this is not very much SA, although I think the same happened to the shrunken lamb. Anyway, great new find by Tony .

If I could, I'd have a jacket in each of Tony's goats (and Cow's, too) as all are unique. Don't get too used to any of these though, Tony will most likely come up with new ones that will blow people out of the water!

The goat is still one of my favorites.... I really need to compare weight because I really like the look of the goat!

JTW, they look really Raiders to me, too scalloped to be a LC. Of course, this is just my opinion which has been shown time again to be worthless.

On other topics, the jacket looks fantastic R., even better than when you first got it. I'm loving the sleeve creases on that baby!

I've been looking at so many different jacket pockets recently, as well as my own Wested - not to mention scalloped trouser pockets, I think I'm losing it .

Jones, I know what you mean and there was a recent debate about the TN Raiders pocket flaps. Many thought that they where to scalloped and others believed they were perfectly accurate. In any case their shape seems to be a peculiarity of the Nowak style and, leaving the old SA debate aside, not everybody has to like them. So, when it comes to my jacket, please, you are welcome to write as many 'negative' things as you want. Having said that I have to recognise that, boy, I do like those flaps a lot

Zen, my jacket weights exactly 3.3 Lbs. This hide is a little bit thicker than my Wested authentic lamb.

Rask that keeps looking better and better. Interesting about the weight. I was going to ask if it seemed thicker or about the same as lamb. My guess is it may be thinner than Tony's lamb, but denser, so it weighs the same or more.

The grain and natural bends in the arms are looking terrific.

What a perfect pair of jackets - brown distressed CS and dark Raiders goat. Each with it's own personality. Nice.

I'm happy you liked it. I can't tell you about Tony's shrunken lamb because I haven't seen or touched it. Maybe someone else could help us with this question. What I can assure you is that Tony's goat is way thicker than Wested’s authentic lamb.
