Stiff VS Floppy? (get yer mind outta the gutter)

My first Akubra Fed IV has broken in to the point that its very shapeable...by that I mean the brim rolls in the hand and the crown is very, very soft. Is this going to be a bad thing? Should I use this as an excuse to buy a Fed IV Deluxe?

No. If you look at the Raiders hat, it was extremely floppy. It's a good thing! -M

My personal preference is floppy felt over stiff felt so you're headed in the right direction imo!

But go ahead and get another hat anyway!
