Pics of my new Washed Goat TOD Jacket didn't came out that well.

No drape at the moment but I'm gonna distress the jacket soon.
After preparing the Collar:

Lookin quite cooler IMO
When I compare this jacket to my auth. Lamb TOD jacket, there are some differences.
The Cuff's are about 0,5 inch more tappered on my auth. lambskin and the pockets are placed a bit different too.

The picture of me wearing the lamb jacket is really a bit strange. But the look of both jackets are IMO the same.
I will make new pics of the lambskin tomorrow.

That's a fine looking jacket there, not digging the pockets though (as I'm a Raiders guy and think they look ridiculous, but that's JMO). Seems to fit you well, enjoy it.

Fantastic Orb. Love those pockets. I never carry stuff with me so small pockets (like those on some A2's) are fine by me. I think they make the jacket design look better.

If he is using the same zipper, and it looks like it is, the hardware is RIDICULOUSLY authentic.

I was a little miffed when I got my ToD jacket. The zipper was the big aluminium looking one I was expecting, but the stopper looked a different colour, it's slightly yellow and a harder (maybe zinc) metal. I was thinking MOD EDIT!! I have since seen some close ups from one of our members who got to see the jacket when Noel had it. And I'll be darned, it shows exactly the same colour difference.

This is accurate in the way Talon or Crown zippers might sought after by A2 fans, wow!

I got the right specs on both jackets. Just a little bit different sizes there and there...
On my lambskin the stormflap is 1" 1/4 and on my washed goat it's 1" 1/2.
But nothing which would really drive me mad. The Wested Logos are different. The one in the washed goat is more shiney
Here two pictures for Hatch.

Thanks for all the positiv inputs!
I've got the right zipper and press studs on both jackets. I'm quite happy with the hardware!

I also think the best on the Wested TOD is the right hardware and the right pockets!
This really makes the jacket more special. With the standard hardware I would have sold it already!
Here's a bad picture of that zipper!

I have two ToDs. The zipper stop on the first is different from the second. For the first it is an aluminum 'U'
The second is some sort of plated cast stop like you describe.

The photos of the NH jacket zipper I've seen have the first type stop I mentioned, and looks aluminum colour, not cast plated zinc or yellowish.
Could you post the photo you have?

The pocket on the left is 1/4 inch off.
The pocket on the right looks placed different but that's because of the stormflap which is 1/4 inch smaller on the lambskin jacket.

Hard to tell for sure from the photo but that zipper stop looks different from both mine.
It's hardly a problem, just an observation.

I checked again RC!
The zipper stop on my Washed Goat is different to the one on my lambskin.
On the lambskin the zipper stop is like KT mentioned before. It's heavier and has a yellow tone on it. On both sides YKK stamped.
The zipper on my washed goat is lighter and only on the front stamped YKK. I can live with that...

They did a nice job of your collar stand end. It may be the best ToD collar stand end I've seen so far

Yes, the end of the collar stand was bent over that way when I received it. I think it naturally gets pulled down by the collar. It replicates the NH jacket in that regard.

Low Quality control? My first TOD was perfect. My second TOD suffers from a longer stormflap, different zipper stop and wider cuff openings.
Best way is to avoid buying from them or just lower your expectations.

I haven't wrote them. I'm sick of this. I won't sell the jacket because the fit is fine.
I also got a few backbone marks on the jacket. When I placed the order I have stated that I don't want any backbone marks. Well that's Wested. I knew such things could happen. But I will never order from them again.
Their quality standard is not high enough. I have paid a premium price for it. 220 Euros... I should have saved it for a piece of a TN jacket! However I will distress the jacket heavily, use it like a piece of shred, and then I won't notice all those mistakes anymore.

No, the left pocket flap is slightly longer on the left side than on the right, but not as much as the photo makes it out to look.

Thanks for making me notice, Friendo. (Just kidding).

At least your pockets are in the right spot. Thanks for the pics, youve given me ideas on how to distress mine. Ive slept in it every night since I got it and wrinkled up the sleeves as well as done some light sanding, but its nowhere near where I want it. I just might have to break out the alchohol.

Knibs did a great job distressing his ToD. Seems like he gave a mini-tutorial on how he did it. It's in a thread somewhere around here... 8-[]
