Ok, I thought it may raise the price some. Doesn't sound TOO bad though.

Thanks!

VP wrote:I meant regarding the pocket size, overall the measurements are completely different. My next jacket is probably going to be a DB Lamb Raiders, I'm thinking of these specs:
  • All Cotton lining
  • Black/gunmetal sliders with X-box stitching
  • 80's cut
  • No leather facing on the zipper
  • 5 gauge silver color zipper with small zipper pull extending as low as possible without the zipper pull showing
  • Slit inside pocket, NOT piped (see http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd31 ... CN0601.jpg)
  • Tapered sleeves and back panel, backpanel extending all the way to the arm seam
  • Extra reinforced handwarmer/side entry pocket entry stitchings
  • Action pleat depth 3.2cm (~1.25")
  • Collar ending in the middle of the storm flap, rounded top corner on the storm flap
  • Side strap length 22.2cm (~8.75")
  • Arm seam located one inch below the yoke seam
  • Silver colored snaps on pockets, scalloped pocket flaps, pocket size same as my current jacket (width 16.3cm (~6.42"), height 19.5cm (~7.68"), pocket flap height 7cm (~2.76")), located 5.1cm (~2") from the bottom, right pocket 4cm (~1.57") from the zipper seam and left pocket 2.8cm (~1.1") from the storm flap
Received. Didn't pay any extra and got everything I asked for. Pics following later today.

Not including the collar stand or the shoulder seam.

Pit to pit: 65 cm
Back: 68 cm
Front: 60.5 cm
Sleeve: 66 cm
Height: 189 cm
Weight: 95 kg

Divide the centimeters by 2.54 to get the measurement in inches. 95 kilos is 209 pounds.

Great jacket VP! Looks really nice!

Did you mention the nickel silver zipper in the request box or in an email? The silver looks so much nicer than the brass I received and I had asked for silver. I've been getting the run-around with Gemma about where to put it (for next time, if there is one) to ensure you get what you asked for. First she says to put in the request box. Then when I asked her, what if the request box is not enough room, she says to put it in a confirmed email. Which then I tell her I did so, so then she comes back with this.

Dear Jim,
All the request that are used are only the request that are entered on the website request box
Thanks Gemma

A bit perhaps, but as I'm between sizes (43) and will usually wear it with a sweatshirt it should be OK. Better a bit loose than a bit tight. At least it doesn't have the facings and has a tapered waist.

That means if it isn't in the initial order request it may not make it to the jacket.

My requests were in the initial order request which both Peter and Gemma told me they received. She never seems to answer the question. Just like when I showed her how for the custom ROLA jacket on the site, it says silver zipper. And for the stock jacket, it says brass zipper. But she told me its the other way around.

Here's the jacket 23 hours after having a shower in it.

Natural lighting

Incandescent lighting, front

Incandescent lighting, back

Still a bit shiny but nicely wrinkled.

My Authentic Lamb looked the same post-shower but now it looks like this (behind the new one): http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v77/I ... G_9759.jpg

I noticed that there was some rust on the side strap buckles after waterboarding the jacket, but it came off easily with some steel wool.

It looks wrinkled, but nothing like the "shrunken lamb". I hope for VP now that it's started on the path to texture it just keeps getting better.

VP if you wear it constantly now for a while maybe the wrinkling and texture will become more permanent than your other jacket did after the shower

not that it matters for WIW ;)

(I just hope no one else picks up on your statement of the original screen used jacket having "Shrunken lamb" parts :-$ )
