custom whip holder

Post by ob1al »

Hi everybody, I'm new to the bullwhip section and don't yet know my overhead crack from my Christmas crack..... So please bear with me.

I have just aquired a 10ft (I know, too long for a novice...) Indy whip (made by Bernie in Oz) from Geordie Jones (cheers mate) who lives just 20 mins away from me. Previously, I have only owned a cheapie 6 ft whip purchased from ebay a couple of years ago, which cracked a few times on me then died.

But the reason I'm posting:- In a small market town called Hexham, where I work, I found a fantastic back-street leather shop which is custom making an Indy whip holder for me based on close-up shots of the MBA & Keppler whip holders.

I will try to post some pics once I have it, but basically if anyone else in the UK is seeking a whip holder, I may be able to have one made for you.

The best thing? The price. I got to custom choose the leather, colour, press-stud etc. and the total is only a meagre £10.

Cheers,

Al
