My first whip is on its way...and its from Bernardo!

Post by hobbitjedi »

I have always wanted to type that! :)
I asked Bernardo to make a whip that looked like it was made when Raiders was filmed. I wanted one as Raiders SA as possible, as I was mostly going to use it as a display with my other Indy props.
I would very much like to learn how to do some basic cracks tho! I'm getting pretty good with that Hasbro one! :whip:
He was so helpful in explaining the details that would make this whip exactly what I was looking for. He took the time to explain all of the little things that went into the making of this whip for me.
He even explained to me how to include these wonderful pictures in my post:

I am so happy to finally be able to have one of your whips!
Thanks so much for everything Bernardo!

I too have a Bernardo and I can tell you that I love mine. It cracks like thunder with minimal effort and is easy to control. Its that heavy handle Bernardo puts on it. I told Bernardo if the whip ever failed me, I could use the handle as a black jack and knock a guy senseless! You are going to love it! Remember to use your picards on it!

Thanks for all of the kind words!
This is my first whip so I'll have to check out the FAQ on how to care for it.
I really wanted a Raiders look to it, what do you guys think?
I'm really excited to get it!
I feel like I'm about to take my first step into a larger world!:)
Thanks!

Congratulations on a very nice whip. I think you'll be very pleased when it arrives, Bernardo does good work and that whip is with out a doubt Raiders style. :whip:
