PB Questions

Post by jts1031 »

I just ordered a Peters Bros custom in the soft rabbit. I've had two of their hats in the past, and they were of very high quality. At the time, Joe Jr. was still there making the hats. Then I understood that Jimmy had taken over in that department. But I'm unfamiliar with who has the reins now. Can anyone enlighten me? And also, any idea what the current turn around time is on the customs?

Joe Sr. makes the hats now.

Joe Jr. and Jimmie has been gone from PB for quite a few years.

I believe they state 6 week turn around on their website. You might want to drop Joe an email and ask at joe@pbhats.com .

Were I a betting man, I'd have wagered that you'd have the answers. Thanks very much for them. I appreciate it.

I heard from the Mrs.... Turn around time right now is 12 weeks. I honestly hope that they are that busy. What recession? I'm just glad I didn't wait until their busy season to order.

Still there? You mean he's back? He's been gone for several years now, so if that's a fact, that's GREAT news! :D

Yeah, it was my understanding that he had been gone for a while as well. If he is back, stellar...

Peters Bros has redirected their site to pbhats.com and made some updates. It now is stated that there is a 12 week wait, so it might be a while before I can post pics. Plus May is 10% off custom hat month if anyone is pondering an order.

I have one I got last year - TOD style. The soft fur felt one feels a LITTLE stiff at first, but after breaking it in, #### it is soft, I wear it pretty much everywhere. Not a bad hat at all.

Unfortunately for me the hat is on loan so to speak, and any pictures I did have of it are on my old computer's hard drive - which I have yet to put into my new computer, but when that is all done, you bet I'll get some photos up.
