Just got my purewhips Natural Indy

Post by Vaderbreath »

And I absolutely love it. Mine looks just like the one pictured on Gus's website, so if you want to know what it looks like, check there. This thing sounds like a cannon, and it is just beautiful. I've been using a whip from olde-tyme stuff on ebay, and while it is heavier than Gus's, it doesn't crack nearly as well. I just came back from 'breaking it in' in the mountains of Washington state, and it seriously echoed through the valley. I made some horses jump that were on the other side of a 180 acre ranch. Thanks again for making such a great, affordable whip, Gus!

How was the wait time on it? I'm leaning to get one of these whips to add to my use before I jump on the 'roo bandwagon. Still loving my IOAB and not going to give that one up ever, but looking to further SA my Indygear.

The wait time wasn't bad at all. I ordered it on April 3 and received it May 1. His customer service is exceptional. He called me the day it was delivered to give me some pointers on breaking it in and its general use. Gus is a really nice guy who obviously loves what he does, and makes sure he delivers what the customer wants. He was great in answering emails, and I've never had a vendor call me up the day it's delivered just to make sure I liked it. When the day comes and I want to upgrade, I know who I'm calling. :D

Thanks. Since Gus managed to redo his website, I'm sure that the orders just keep coming in for him. Don't know how he keeps it up, but glad that he can. Looking forward to placing an order in a few weeks. Thanks for sharing, Vaderbreath.
