Cotton Club Fedoras

Post by mcmanm »

Just watching Cotton Club on MGM HD and was wondering if anyone had payed aprticular attention to the hats in the movie. I really liked Richard Gere's hat in the film. From the side, it looks like a Raiders hat. The front has that loose LC/CS pinch I couldn't help myself from wondering who made his hat?

Funny thing about that movie. A long time friend of 30 years provided the curtains for that movie. I used to work for him a long time ago putting in the grommets for his curtains.

Any pics my friend, it's been some times since I have seen it and my memory isn't what it used to be.

Any luck with the photos? I don't think I've ever seen the film, but I'm interested to see what the hats look like.

good movie saw about a month ago on cable, i remeber seeing it when I was in High school with my dad. He had to explain to me about mobsters and there strange ways of dealing with people, I just knew thme as bad guys and killers told me that my grandpa knew a few back in his day.He played the violin professionally for a little while.wish I knew my grandpa better I was 7 when he died and I just knew of the grandpa that played with me, but that was good enough.
