My Federation SOC reblocked with my Raiders hat block
Hello guys! This is my Federation Deluxe that i reblocked several times since 2 years. This hat was my hat test with my many hat block. I reblocked with my ultimate SOC Hat block. I love the finish result.
Since 2 years that i work on my many hat block for made a perfect Hat SOC. I want to specify, I did not do this for nothing, when i find the good felt, i sell my Fedoraiders hat but be patient, please. Surely this years.
Thanks!

Wow, that Fed looks really amazing! Can't believe you got that out of a Fed. You're block is excellent! SOC all the way with that one!

Jason,
You definitely have a talent here. No doubt about that. That Fed IV looks mighty purty!
Kind regards,
Craig

Jason, your hats are great and this one especially! What color ribbon do you use?
it looks black but faded down to a med black...
great contrast i think.. you got the look down!
when ever you start reblocking feds.. please take mine! i just got a new Fed IV from a member her (thanks durdens) and would definetly get it reblocked to your blocks

This hat screams INDY! The more I look at your hats (this fed, your HJ, and your own) the more I love them. They are perfect Indy hats. Plus I love your poses in these pics, they're awesome! The last one reminds me of when Indy is drinking, after the SoC battle, with Belloq. This hat is awesome

I have no doubts that you will soon start to get some orders! I love what you have done. I've rarely seen so much a good looking SOC hat (that's one of the hardest to get properly). If it's not a secret, may I ask you about the brim? How does it look so good? Did you change position to the sweatband or something?

It's not a secret, when i reblock my hats, i remove the sweatband and inner satin and reput on the same place but i don't put the inner satin because the Screen Use Fedora doesn't have, i think.

Great work again and good to know that you would sell hats if you find the right felt

In truth, its not really a Federation IV. Its a Federation IV felt body and sweatband on Jason's SoC block.eazybox wrote:This is the best looking Fed lV I have ever seen. Wonderful work.

Re: My Federation SOC reblocked with my Raiders hat block
Your 'distressing technique' of grabbing the front and rear of the brim is simple genius. I could just imagine seeing Harrison doing that very thing to the film hat. It aids in the look of the brim on that side of the hat, it relaxes the brim break and it coaxes the ribbon away from the brim break. All key components to the Cairo hat look. And it is a very natural act.
