No, as far as I can tell, he wants to know what jacket the Indy actor is wearing. Sounds pretty straightforward to me at this point.

Re: Rachel Flannery?
Oh, THAT Rachel Flannery. Now it's all clear.
I thought you were talking about the Rachel Flannery that I knew from 4th grade. She had a red Schwinn bike, and was pretty good at tetherball, but I'm pretty sure she didn't wear a US Wings, since Indy didn't even exist then. I think her jacket was from Sears, and it was probably a wool/poly blend.

Re: Rachel Flannery?
Ah, I was just as much in the dark!
Based on those photos, PLATON, I can tell you without ANY fear of contradiction, Rachel is NOT wearing ANYTHING made by U. S. Wings.
If you meant the GUY, you should have said so. Wings? Could be....

Re: Rachel Flannery?
I had a look at the rest of the pics in the gallery and at least "Indy" seems to have a very decent looking whip. Looks like a Morgan.

Re: Rachel Flannery?
Making assumptions here, but if these photos were shot at the Disney stunt show, and considering Cooper/Wings supplied jackets to Disney for years (still do to the executive branch), I'd think it would be safe to assume it is indeed a Wings product.

Re: Rachel Flannery?
Do you know that for a fact, Dutch? Once again, this being at Disney, one would think it would be a DP, ALSO sold at the Disney shops, and a market placement in the show for items you can buy in the park.Dutch_jones wrote:The hat is a christys a bit short, but in some pics it looks alot like the temple of doom.

I'm surprised the bag and the jacket didn't have a label that says "Indiana Jones"

I'll go as far as to say that jacket is a USW antique lambskin. The design details seem to match the USW jackets I've seen, but the leather isn't behaving like their goatskin or cowhide. It's very nice. Kind of out-shines everything else he's wearing. Ms. Flannery, not so much!

In an old thread someone mentioned that the Disney cast member playing Indy for these shows (this one looks like Disneyland around the time of CS) were wearing Herbert Johnson hats.Michaelson wrote:Do you know that for a fact, Dutch? I know they didn't look like DPs, but how anyone can tell what the hat is from that photo I don't know.

Re: Rachel Flannery?
Looking at some more of the photos on that site, the jacket I don't think is a USWings, but maybe one of the 'official' jackets like were used in the State Lottery's
Here are a couple better views of the hat

That hat doesn't look like a DP. I'd say its either a Christy's or an HJ; I'm with you, Dutch. As for the jacket (wasn't that the point of this thread?) It looks and drapes just like my cowhide Wings jacket. The color looks right too.

Re: Rachel Flannery?
Since there were legal issues with the lottery jackets, I'd be surprised if a big entity like Disney would've used those jackets. My vote is for Wings.
Re: Rachel Flannery?
The jacket certainly looks like a Wings (I'd vote cowhide but I wouldn't bet the farm on it). I agree with Bink that, with the legal issues the lottery jackets ran into, that a major company like Disney wouldn't use them. And since their executives still get Wings jackets, it's not much of a stretch that one got included in the show.
As for the hat, the crown height looks about right for a DP. Not saying it's not a Christie's but the crown looks too small for one. If it is a DP, it's one of the better looking ones I've seen.

Re: Rachel Flannery?
Yeah but you can customize crown height on the christys so it is possible it is one, from the looks of it it is, but it could well be a dorfman but not the woolfelt.crismans wrote:The jacket certainly looks like a Wings (I'd vote cowhide but I wouldn't bet the farm on it). my vote goes to christys though, and that whip isn't something I think Disney would sponsor I mean that DOES look like a morgan, so my guesses are whatever this guy has, is from a personal collection.
I also think Todds Shirt?

That makes sense, but I think those skits were only done for a short time, and it was before the legal issues?binkmeisterRick wrote:Since there were legal issues with the lottery jackets, I'd be surprised if a big entity like Disney would've used those jackets. My vote is for Wings.
To me the jacket just doesn't look as good as a Wings.
