This looked like a handy piece of gear to have while on an adventure, although not totally period, it's a collapsible shot glass from Eddie Bauer ...

That's great! Well, it's a stainless steel model which is even better against rust. People are always posting "What's in your bag?". This was actually considered a real luxury item back in it's day, and you could order them in sterling silver and engraved in gold from high end jewelers of the era. I'm used to the old plastic ones we used to get through Boy Scout sales in the 1960's. Wonder if they're still available? Regards. Michaelson

You can still find the plastic ones at most camping stores, but I thought the stainless steel one was pretty cool. A little more durable too.
