Washed goat is a popular hide. It was out of stock for a long time a while back, not sure what the situation is now.
I did, however, order an off-the-rack Raiders Washed goat back in January, and it arrived in only a week.
No one could answer better than Wested though, so give them a call.

ordered an off the rack on March 4 and they haven't shipped yet. The update said they were still making it and should ship at the end of this week. So it will probably be a month total, at least. That is assuming it doesn't get stuck in customs.
Call them. Maybe they're making a bunch of them.

I ordered a TOD and it arrived in Canada less than three weeks later. With the precise measurements I asked for.

I ordered a custom ROLA washed goat on March 10. I asked Gemma to email me with the tracking # when shipped. Jacket hasn't shipped yet. Would call or email if real curious. Good luck, I know this sounds crazy but after you order waiting is half the fun I think. Anticipation can drive most people nuts, ](*,) be patient.

RC, I'll gladly post a few photos. I know the jacket looks like the rest of them that have been posted, but if you're like me, I always like to see them anyway. This site has been INVALUABLE to me in placing my order, so my thanks to all of you who have posted pics and reviews, made recommendations and responded to my PMs.

(Frankly, I couldn't believe how fast this one shipped. I'm astounded.)

because if you order a standard or special Rola from their site then it is ''of the rack'' they ship it right away.

if you go ''custom made'' then it is made in the shop and will take a little longer to complete.

IndianaJack91,

I just received a reply from gemma. She said my jacket will ship on April 1. So it looks like it will take all most a month to get my jacket (Swanley to Moab Utah) to my hands from placing a order on march 10. This is a custom order washed goat ROLA. I am sure OTR sizes are shipping faster if in stock. Hope this helps you.

Mine is an OTR ROLA and I ordered on March 4, still hasn't shipped. Last 2 emails I got from Gemma said it was being made. I thought they had them in stock because the site listed some sizes as "all sold". I assumed since mine didn't say that, that they had them in stock.

My Wested washed goat TOD took 8 weeks. When I placed my order I stated that I don't want any backbone marks on the jacket.
I got two backbone marks. One on the sleeve and one in the back. Great Work Wested!
I'm pretty sure I won't buy anything ever again from them. I'm not spending 220 Euros to get something which I stated I didn't want at all.
I'm gonna distress the jacket soon, so hopefully the marks are gone after that.
one after that.

What's the next step after processing? Shipping or making it? Do they let you know when they are going to make it so any changes you want have to be in at that time?

The next step after processing is making the jacket! This could take up to forever?
It means you're in the list that your jacket should be cut very soon. If they don't have the leather anymore it takes longer.
Maybe they will cut the Lining first. They did this on my TOD Washed Goat. After this step I had to wait another 6 weeks till the leather was available.

As has been said, it all depends on whether the leather is in stock. I've owned a few OTR jackets and I've always gotten them within a week (including a washed goat LC). I think the ToD jacket craze really worked on the washed goat supplies (plus that bad shipment they got).

Yeah processing means that my order has been read and added to the pile. After that they'll cut the jacket and start stitching it together.

Its about a month since I ordered it. Still waiting but I had a laundry list of requests. Peter told me last Tuesday that it should go out in a week. But no email with a tracking number. So who knows if its on its way or not.

I spoke to Gemma this week about my special order and she said 3-4 weeks. It is worth calling if you really want to know more...I was seeing if my requests had been recieved....and YEP....

I think its completely fair to wait a month!

I'm waiting on one I ordered in January. I emailed them a few weeks ago and they said it was taking so long because they hadn't made a pattern for me. Um... after 4 months? [-( Not like they haven't done it before.

One more thing I emailed gemma a lot and every time I did same response, “Dear Zane,

I understand where you're coming from here and I'm not trying to start something (promise O:) ), but i don't think you owed an apology. After the wait time (especially after being told 5 times it was going out the next week), I think you're owed a little bugging.

Again, nothing against Wested. Gemma has always responded to my emails and I've gotten good info back. Just saying in regards to your situation.
