DVD caps of the gloves

Post by lonerthx »

In the first you can see what looks like the word Lamont at the wrist. The stitching here is identical to the 1123's

and here is the back, the only difference in stitching to the 1123's here is where the thumb joins the side seam. The screen gloves thumb goes all the way back to the wrsit parallel to the side seam, whereas the 1123's joins the side seam at a right angle about half way along.

these are both from the Well of Souls scene.

What is also clear from looking at the gloves throughout the film is that most of their colour comes from the fake blood used in the fight scenes

My vote is for 'LARGE'. for sure.

My 1130's don'y have any size written on them. Do / did the 1123's? This would answer a few questions if we could find out!

In the first pic, there is what looks like "Caho" or "Cahoz" on the glove. Could that be the name of the workman Ford might have borrowed the gloves from? (speculation only)

Yup... it says large... its a good get that if these were taken from a crewmember that they simply wrote in pen on the gloves what size they were so that when crewmembers went to get workgloves they could see what size they were without having to try them on.. it does not look like the word is printed on.. but rather hand written.

That's it! I'm changing my COW name to Cahoz!

It DOES look like the word LARGE, but it looks printed on to me...or else whoever wrote it has printing like a machine!
