Oh no!!

Post by Randy »

The stiching in the tongue on my right Alden shoe is coming up. I emailed Mr. White about it and sent him a pic. I think the width of my foot coused this. I orderd a EE but maybe I need a EEE. Do you guys think he will do a return and a upgrade in size to EEE?? I didn't tell him that I think my foot width may have caused this.

Are you guessing sizes...is EE your correct width, or EEE? Did you originally supply him with a size correctly measured and supplied to you by a professional regarding your foot size? :? I can't speak for him or what he may or may not do, but if this is damage due to an incorrect size supplied by you rather than a correct one by a professional, you may be stuck with the boot and responsible for your own repair, unless you can prove it's due to faulty materials and workmanship. It's really his call. Regards. Michaelson

A pro sized up my foot. He said 11 EE. The EE fit good but I think maybe I could have used a EEE in the Aldens.

The left shoe is fine.

Then I'd suggest you pass this information along to Mr. White as well. Regards. Michaelson

I will keep you informed. I emailed him 2 days ago and I never got a reply. I'll wait another day.

Update

Well, about 2 weeks ago I sent my boots back for inspection. About 3 days ago I recieved a brand new set of 11 EEE boots! I could not be any happier! My jacket also arrived on the same day. :D
