A Few Beautiful Whips
Now, one of them isn't mine.. but a few months ago I had the privelage of babysitting it for a few days until it could get to its real owner, and so I took a few photos. See if you can guess the makers! Probably by now everybody knows who that dark whip is by, since I've had it for so long!

Thanks for looking!

The revolver is an Artsee1 replica - you can contact him from his store here:
http://artsee1.com/pageslinked/store.html
If you scroll down towards the bottom of the page you'll see the S&W, a Webley MkVI, and an idol. His contact info is at the very bottom of the page.
Thanks for looking! I really like the color of the lightest one best, myself.

I'm not shure about the natural tan whips, but the dark one looks like a Benjamin Scott to me

Hey Shane,
Those are great pictures! thanks for posting them. I can guess too who made the third whip, right?
Isn't it Indy French's whip?
Btw, the photos that John took of you on your last visit to Anthony's ranch are awesome!
Regards,
Bernardo

Right on!! I think you did some research! Otherwise you're just too good!Indiana County Jr. wrote:Steinhouse of course.... love that dark color!

Though you spelt Stenhouse wrong. .5 point deduction!
Hi Bernardo! The whip is a Strain but it belongs to Dejah Thoris currently. She's getting some good use out of it, I think, and actually on my last visit to Anthony's (John came with us the time before that!) she brought it up there to break it in a little. I had yours with me too, and it performed like a champ, but I didn't use it as much as I used Anthony's whips (if I HAVE to get sand in somebody's whip... ). Thanks again for a stellar whip! I actually had a Jacka on order but cancelled it after having this one for a while and trying out a few of the Jacka Indy IVs. I just don't need those ones when I have this thing!Bernardodc wrote:Isn't it Indy French's whip?

Also, thanks for the compliments about the pictures - John is one heck of a photographer. We had a lot of fun that time, throwing tomahawks and stuff after Anthony had to leave. We started to get a little crazy though and brought out the battle axes after a little while, and I even tried to use a.... throwing shovel?

Re: A Few Beautiful Whips
Some top quality looking gear in those pictures Shane. After cracking Bernardo's whips, and a recent Morgan, I became convinced they were the style of whip for me. Nothing else I'd cracked came close.
Re: A Few Beautiful Whips
Thanks, guys! Bernardo's work really speaks for itself but it is one heckuva whip! It's pretty thick all the way to the fall hitch, but I just say that makes the whip a .45 instead of a .22!

Re: A Few Beautiful Whips
I popped in for a quick visit and got a chance to crack both the Strain and the Bernardo during Shane and Dejah's last visit to Rancho Indalo. I must say that I was impressed by the handling of both of them. I'll be adding them to the list of whips I want to buy.
