doesn't look brass, looks silver! I don't think its anything other than lighting. So materialwise its silver but if you want screen accurate you'd have to kind of make it more brass like.

Really? I would deffinatly say the one in the pic I posted is brass in colour atleast. Maybe my eyes are doin funny things.
The brass used (on the LC at least) is quite dark, an antiqued bronze really.
The pic you posted kinda looks like a silver zipper seen under yellow lighting, imo.
We've been told that the zippers were painted brass and that wore off. Never seen any proof of the bronze painted zippers really, inless the Iman's house pic shows on of them.

Watching the whole sequence with the jacket flapping around in the wind it looks brass in colour, not a lighting thing. But ofcourse I dont know for sure, I was looking for something else but when I saw it I remembered this thread.
