It looks black because it's not in the light; other than keeping it in the light all the time you can't make it "more brown".

The Pecard's I use is a paste applied with the fingers, a cloth or a soft polish applicator brush.indyfan1234 wrote:ok dont get mad at me but im serious what are pecards i might have an idea its a spray right?

1234, there people on this site who would love to have one that dark.....just be thankful it's not 'light brown'....seems the Pecards will only make it darker if anything.......

Pecards will NOT lighten it. I have the same jacket and was fretting over the color for a bit. I tried alcohol, with no lightening. Then I realized that it is what it is. Don't try to change the jacket to something that it isn't. Just enjoy the jacket. I love the color now.

...and to answer your question....no, Pecards is NOT a spray. None of their product line comes that way.

Re: pecards on dark brown goat skin
Jacket looks great. My G&B dark brown is like that, almost looks black in certain lighting. And after seeing the Wested dark brown swatch, it seems the same way. So my next jacket is the authentic brown lamb. I was thinking dark brown again but like you said, wanted something that looks brown all the time.
