Todd's Raiders pattern (is it the original?)

I've seen a few passing references around the internet about a "long story" of how Todd somehow ended up with the original Raiders pattern. I've searched these forums and Googled but can't seem to find any more info on that. I didn't see it in the jacket history summary either. Anyone have any info or links to past threads that I'm missing?

I think what it is, is that Todd's pattern is based on an original jacket's specs. Measurements taken by _. Same as G+B.
When you compare Todd's jacket to the Tony Nowak Raiders which is copied from an original jacket, the Todd's shows to be quite good in pattern detail.

Yeah, Todd's is based on an original, but has also been modified based on fan concerns, popular details from different jackets within the film, etc. I know he researched it very thoroughly in order to offer us something very special.

Todd's design was already very close before he got hold of Paterson's notes. Even then he made allowances for changes in the design, so the jacket appears more "screen accurate". Todd's jacket is entirely his own, different than all others. It looks the part for sure.
