sleeve length question on Todd's

Post by blueoakleyz »

I think I got a job so I might be able to afford one soon so I can have a leather jacket for the summer.

For fitted dress shirts that come in sleeve length 33, 34/35 or 36/37..33 is too short and 34/35 is just right when cuffed.. they hang down past my hand (like to my knuckles) a bit without being cuffed

I'd get an XL and their size chart says

XL 35" for sleeve length

so would that be good for me? Good length? Are they supposed to hang down past the wrists/middle of the hand?

Did anyone notice that each size now has a + too? like L, L+, XL, XL+

I'd think XL+ since the jacket may develop wrinkles and you don't want it too short. You could always have a tailor shorten the sleeve length. How about the rest of your measurements? Would the XL+ be too big?

I never noticed the new sizes before....the XXL fits me perfectly after the shower treatment but by the description the XL+ would be even better! I might have to order yet another!

theoretically yes..
If they will wrinkle up I think it might be just right

Lol thank you both. It'll make my life easier while trying to return to college and get a masters in computer science which I should have done originally.

I tried on suit jackets and a 42R fits well.. the sleeves hang past the hands like I was talking about.. so it should be good

Congratulations on the job.

I thought those in between (+ indicator) size listing was just for shirts not he standard jackets. If it is for jackets and means longer sleeves it's a good thing.
