Well, here they are
First off is a 6 ft. 12 plt. indy style in blue(it looks black 'in person' too) using the bolster lengths, and the new braiding technic that I learnt from David Morgan and Alex.
And with it, my new DM.

And here is a little competition for Lauren Wickline. I made it for the 7 in. Disney figure.

Re: My Latest Whips
LOL! You made mini Indys!!!! I haven't posted here on COW for awhile, even though I do still read the threads... we've been so busy lately, it's wild. But I couldn't pass up commenting on this. Your big whip looks really nice too, but of course I love your minis - have your eyes uncrossed yet?
I don't think I'd shared this yet, but I made another one for a COW member awhile back and decided to give the two-pass knot a shot (I see you did that as well!). Congrats on making the little 3plait looking wristloop - I have yet to attempt that. And this might sound goofy, but try rounding your miniature falls. That'll make 'em a little denser and smoother... just use a skinny little strip of roo, and do it like you would a full-size fall.
Anyhow, here's a couple pics of my the mini I made a little while back... Thanks for sharing yours! I'm honored to have some competition with the 4plait minis .

Re: My Latest Whips
Thanks for all the kind words. The 6 footer cracks well although I think it needs more weight at the point, but other than that its a nice fluid whip.
believe it or not but those are 4 plait wristloopsCongrats on making the little 3plait looking wristloop - I have yet to attempt that.

Great looking whip Spencer! Swap a heavier / longer fall in to see how that changes things? I've been playing around with different crackers lately.
Both your and Laura's minis are very nice, how well do they crack?
Maybe there should be an official record for the smallest whip, and the smallest whip to actually crack. I really do think it would be great to wear fingertip whips that go boom with a flick, but fear that air resistance must out mass the momentum, to put it in non technical terms. What about legions of nano whips for herding rogue molecules?
With y'alls patience and skill to make those things, the falconry hood makers better watch out!
