Re: Weapons Belt
I hate to say it.. but I wouldn't suggest Keppler unless you were interested in a L O N G wait. Magnoli's belt and straps are made by Wade Egan. I have an Egan strap and love it, he was great to deal with. Todd has the benefit of a good price on his side, but am not sure how screen accurate it is as I haven't heard much about his belts.

Re: Weapons Belt
You may want to contact both of them and ask which they suggest. I'm not 100% on which one to get. I'll look and see if Wade has something on his site real quick.

He does have one aptly named The Raider.
But, you may want to contact Magnoli and ask him. Not to take business away from him.

Re: Weapons Belt
I find it impossible to vote, but I'll give my input. I know nothing about Keppler, except to rumors of very long waiting periods.
I've never done business with Mr. Egan directly, and only just now knew that Magnoli sells his stuff. What I do know is that both Magnoli and Todd are stellar as far as vendors go. I could not fairly pick one over the other. As for the leather goods themselves, so far I only have Todd's stuff. Specifically, several straps and a holster (waiting on a whip holder). I've been very happy with his leather items thus far, and can't imagine his belt isn't top notch.
If you are set on the Egan belt, I know that Magnoli can help you pick the right one, and he always come through.

Re: Weapons Belt
I also have a Todd's strap.. forgot to mention it! Todds felt more like factory made while Wades felt hand crafted. I touched my Todd's up with alcohol and it was instant age! So this may be a viable route for you.
You may want to listen to Chewie here, too. I'm by no means an expert. I just happened to chime in first, I look forward to other opinions. Best to get several options and cull from there!

I'd go with Wade. I've got a bag strap from him and have ordered a belt / whip holder. Really looking forward to it!

Re: Weapons Belt
I have a Todd's gunbelt and whip holder (belt okay-don't liek the whip holder due to the velcro adjuster).
I also have a Wade gunbelt with attached whipholder and love it.
I did get (finally) the Keppler gunbelt and whipholder and love it as well. Since I had him make me a holster for my S & W, I tend to use the Keppler belt when I want to carry both the pistol and the whip.
Someday I will get around to posting pics, but suffice it to say that I think all three belts are good with my preference being the Keppler.

Re: Weapons Belt
I'm not surprised you couldn't find it. AB hasn't released their gunbelts yet.Ranger36 wrote:Huh, funny. When I went to Indygear main and linked to Adventurebilt I couldn't find it. I looked in accessories, no luck. Perhaps one of you fine Indyfans could provide me with a link, please?

Re: Weapons Belt
Though I may be late concerning this topic, just wanted to inform you that I ordered, by phone, a ROTLA holster, for my S&W M1917 with 5' 1/2" barrel, and gunbelt from Mr. Keppler on March 27, 2009 and received the items on April 4, 2009.
I am more than pleased with the finished product. Unfortunately, my digital camera is broken otherwise I would post pictures of the holster and gunbelt.
His computer is still down so the best way to reach him is by way of his phone which is (619) 647-6744.

Re: Weapons Belt
ONLY EIGHT DAYS?! That's like freakin' lightspeed! It took me around 3 months to get my holster, and almost 9 months for my hat ( worth the wait though - thanks, Lee! ) I still need to pick up a Raiders gunbelt. Hmmmm.....who should I call? Decisions, decisions.....

Re: Weapons Belt
Lead times for gear (bag straps/gun belts/whip holders):
All my items will now ship within two weeks. Pre-Aged gear takes about 10 days to complete due to the process. Everything else should take about 2-4 days depending on how many orders I have at the given time.
Special orders are subject to longer lead times depending on hardware stock.
Anyone who needs a 'rush job' need only contact me prior to ordering. My new site will be up again in about a week and will include all of the new buckles and strap options as well as some new items not yet released.
Thank you,
W.E.
