Are Todds shirts officially longer if I order today?

Better for the approaching colder weather here and am thinking of getting a second.

But they are still short at the back...or at least they were 6 months ago?

Have read here about problems and a new cut....so are they being delivered now?

I just got one of Todd's new ones with the new sizing, a Large +, and the sizing is much better (and longer) than my old standard Large. There should be a size chart on his website with all the measurements for you to check out. It's a great shirt made even better with the size corrections. I can actually wear the sleeves down now too.

Last week I asked them this exact question.

Here's what I sent them on Tuesday, March 10th:
"I'm hoping you can help me with the next order I'll place by providing me with some additional information about your Coyle's Indiana Jones Style Shirt. I should begin by saying that I'm a Member of IndyGear's Club Obi Wan...I'm thinking about ordering one of these shirts (the majority of posts on the C.O.W. Discussion Boards certainly give it high praise for accuracy with the exception that some people have issues with the color and/or the length of the shirt..."It's too short and becomes untucked pretty easily" is the common comment).
I've seen a number of posts on these threads that seem to suggest that one (maybe both) of these issues might be corrected at some point.
Is this the case?
To be honest, my primary concern is the length of the shirt... I often wear my shirts untucked and nothing bothers me more than when the shirt itself only hangs down 2 or 3 inches past the waist of my pants.
Are you currently offering a longer version of your shirt?
If not, is this something that's in the works?"

They responded that evening:
"Yes, we have corrected the length issue on the Indy shirts. We have also posted a size measurement chart on the website to further assist customers with determining what shirt(s) they should order. I think you'll be interested in the + size shirts because these are the longer length versions."

I should really post some comparison pics. Sorry yet again for being so lax in my gear photos. The camera is my enemy. I will try to get my girl to take some photos, but I can say that there is definitely more length in the body and the sleeves in the new Large + compared to the old Large.

Well I impressed. Got my Todd's shirt earlier than expected...overnight!

The Large + fits just a tad looser than the normal 16.5 x 36 dress shirts I normally wear. I think with its first wash it might shrink to perfection. Great product!

oh yea flash is the shirts enemy with flash on the shirt looks really yellow but in person it looks fine to me at least

sorry didnt catch the bright sun so i adjusted the colors to show what it actually looks like because the darker sunlight causes the pics to come out a dark yellow and looking at it its not dark at all.
the pic is still not probably what it is i will take one tomorrow for more acurate

yea im just trying to show that cameras make it more yellow than it really is in person also if u film it with a video camera it looks more the stone color than yellow so you would be set if you decide to make a movie. (i discovered that because im in the process of making a fan film)

Raining here in Old Sydney Town...so not much chance to do the photographs....promise to do it though!

So my opinions after a few wears.

The XL is XL....
Bit long on the old arms, but as it's certainly longer at the back I do not mind.

USELESS WITHOUT PICS...YES....but

The colour really settles down after a couple of washes....really nice hue...much more stone colour.

Currently wearing it at the office with my Wested trousers and Todds boots....Godamn its a good look...and people have stopped calling me Indy as they're used to me in some sort of gear everyday now

Still very overcast so the pics only show the lengths and details...but the colour sees about the same close up.

My opinion...for the money Todds is a great buy!

You're right... that color quickly becomes more and more impressive.

Almost immediately after I wrote (last Tuesday in the "Shirt comparison: NH / Wested / Todd's" thread) that I'd wait on the BLACK SOCK WASH method, I completely broke down and did it anyway.

Haven't taken the "After" photo yet for comparison purposes... but I will be doing that later today in that thread, if you're curious.
By the way, can I just take a second and talk about how GREAT that shirt looks when it comes straight (meaning "wrinkled") outta' the dryer?
I think that just really captures the "look"...
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it's a nice looking shirt when it's been ironed, too... but I dunno... there's something about that "rumpled" look.
