Requesting help in Wested Raiders lambskin sizing

I'm thinking of getting a Wested Raiders lambskin. Now I have a 44T G&B Expedition and have a 40" chest, when measuring with no shirt and the tape is tight. According to Wested's site, I have to do it loose. I'm thinking of sticking with the 44 and getting sleeves in 26 and back length in 27. I have started to work out so I may get a little bigger and lose a little of the gut. Any advice? Be greatly appreciated, thanks! Then I have to see if I get authentic brown or dark brown.

I saw your sizes etc on another thread and thought it was a mistake......if your chest measures a tight40 in (figure a loose 41) looks like you'd take a size 42 . don't forget the 4 inches of extra wiggle room built into the regular fit.......a size 44 would give you 7 in of extra wiggle room........unless you really like them baggy of have a lot of gut to work off ,seems would swallow you.....

right,the 44 should have a 48 chest..

so like hatch said it will be BAGGY on you... you can take a swim in it if you like...

I would recommend you a 42 if you like the jacket on the looser side...

ok because I wear a suit jacket 43T. I didn't know with Wested but the 44T G&B fits me fine. I don't have a huge gut, I'm mostly slender with a little gut. I'm 6'3", 220 lbs.
