My meeting with Tony Nowak, Arnold, and 50 cent

We met up at the Arnold classic this weekend and talked jackets among other things. We said our hellos to Arnold and 50 cent also dropped by. One of the guys who was ther with Tony is a stuntman. He was one of the russians who shot the guards at the hanger 51 gate in Indy IV. He also took Spalkos sword in the warehouse and was standing in front of the crates when Harrison hit them with the jeep. I don't have all the picture up yet but I did see a shunken lamb sample and was able to see how it reacted when stretched. I can see now how some would think that the leather looks smooth on screen because when streatched it is very smooth. The lamb was much lighter in weight that my goat. The T3 jacket I have on is by far the heaviest jacket I have ever see. It was nice to see Tony in his element surrounded by people he has know for years like Arnold and Lou Ferrigno. He is very well know in the bodybuilding world and the all love his jackets. Tony made us feel like we had been freinds for 30 years. I can see why Bernie liked him so much. Tony also showed me a hide he will use for Indy jackets if you are afraid of someting hurting it. See below. He calls this his full metal jacket.

Nice. Too bad Tony can't source more of this stuff. That leather looks perfect to my eyes.

Where was all of this at, L.A., Vegas?

I believe that is his 15 or 30 year old shrunken lamb hide. A photo of it was posted previously.

edit: It is a 30 year old hide. The goat used for Chris's and Raider S's jackets is 15 year old hide.

It matches only one of the jackets in the movie, not the jacket Tony copied

If you look at neutronbomb's photos, Tony used a white shrunken lamb hide with that texture for another movie jacket.
He can probably source it but obviously needs to get the correct colour.

Yes it is a no so secret service guy. They got there before the show started so we all sat aorund and talked before Arnold got there. They all have matching black jackets (not leather) that Arnold had Tony make them for Christmas this year. Nice guys and you can tell they really liked Tony and their boss. I will post pics of some jackets other Jackets that Tony made for Arnold, one of them is an A-2. FYI all of this was not paid for with tax payer money.

I have a great interest in fitness as well as Indy so in speaking with Tony over the last year we decided that this would be a good place to meet up. The Arnold Classic is a sports festival that has been held for every year for 21 years.

See, this is why it isn't very fun to live in Houston. Nothing really exciting happens here. Thanks for the post, Han :D

Yeah I meant the link covers everything, but the event has much more than just body building/weight lifting.

Yeah, for endurance sports you can just get involved in the "shrunken lamb" debate/discussion   .........but seriously I'm a big believer in alternating aerobic with lifting etc..make the joints and heart last longer not to mention the quality of life along the way
