Yes there are tons of pictures with people wearing their novapelle jackets. I will make it easy for you and supply a couple pictures of mine but if you use the search function you will find many more.

First two photo's are the day I recieved it.

Ill take some pics shortly, I recently hand distressed my LC novapelle to look more LC distressed...its got a very distinctive wear pattern(many people dont like it, but, it doesnt look quite right without that kind of distressing).

I was one of those who initially didn't like the wear pattern on the LC (when I first began to notice such things). It has grown on me since then to where I really like it.

And scot, I really like that jacket you have. Really nice warm tones to that one!

Thanks Crismans, it has really gained some more character the last couple of months with increasing wear. The leather is really starting to soften and become less stiff. I am hoping to get it caught in another "wet" snow or light rain in the next couple of weeks for even more added character. It will be really hard to put it away once spring and summer arrives, although then I can turn to my Todd's standard jacket.

Here are various pics of my Wested CS novapelle:

This one was taken today - five minutes after my wife dragged me out of bed and made me go outside to see the snow. Apparently it is a wonder here in Georgia:

I don't have any pictures of me wearing it (as I am usualy the one taking pictures, not the one that has his picture taken) but I do have some pics of my Novapelle LC from when it was new.

By now it has taken on a lot more character as it has all kinds of nice marks from brushing up to things, wearing a backpack, stuffing stuff into the pockets and all kinds of other signs of use.

Now if only someone would take my picture while wearing it :-k

Regards, Geert

Edit: funny, I'm wearing the exact same clothes I wore while taking those pictures right now

Last Crusade is regular cut. I wanna say the length is 26 inches. The 80's cut that you hear about is something that is done only for a Raiders jacket. Im sure our more learned members will be able to give you better detials.

no matter what. Dale has the most awesome CS novapella I have ever seen from wested.

I remeber falling in love with it when I first saw it last year....that was the kick in the butt for me to get a novapella jacket..saddly my jacket was WAY to short and small when it came. so I returned it...

I dont what it is but I think his jacket is just as cool as the movie jacket..

I also think that you HAVE to pecard this jacket... its a must... it looks so much better.

also I want to say, there is something that i cant get over with these jackets. I dont understand why wested places those straps that low on the jacekt.. I mean I know the straps on the LC/CS are lower then raiders , but not that low....

anywaysy.. there all cool jackets!

Thanks for the compliments, Holt. That one turned out spec-perfect to what I had requested. It is definitely the last jacket I will ever buy. I got my Wested shirt last week, and I'm just waiting on my Adventurebilt CS to top it all off.

It depends on what movie you are "emulating" the jacket after indyfan1234. My novapelle is a Raiders version and although it was shipped with the D-rings, replacement rectangular sliders were sent to me for a more accurate look. If you want a LC/CS version then then the D-rings would be accurate.

I chose a cotton body with satin sleeves for my Raiders jacket but may have been better off with an all satin body to acheive a better Raiders look when wearing it.

First decide on what what film you want the jacket based on and do some more investigating before placing your order.

Regards,

Scott

he has allready made his choice.. CS right?

if you go with the CS or LC there should be no Xbox. there should be a 1/2'' empty box with Drings.

if you want to go 100% SA then the anchoring on the straps should be piped. but this is very undurable. they will eventually tear if the straps are used alot...

dark satin all the way for a LC

It's a custom, size 40 regular with 25 and 1/2-inch sleeves, x-box straps, 100% cotton lining throughout, and no leather zipper facings. And that novapelle is soft as buttah. :D

His jacket isn't a CS. The CS does have leather zipper facings on the inside

Actually, it is a CS jacket - complete with the screen accurate double-stitched shoulders. But I ordered it last February, before anyone knew the details of the movie jackets. We didn't know about the zipper facings, or the lack of x-box stitching on the side straps. The only good picture available was the "Part time" still, which only detailed the front of the jacket. The rest was pure guesswork until we saw the movie. And even if I had known, I still would have ordered it without zipper facings, and I would have asked for x-box stitching because that's what I prefer.

OK. That clarifies it. I thought it was an LC jacket.

No problem. The CS is a virtual clone of the LC pattern.

i just love the color on your jacket especially in the pic of it hanging on a hanger. is that the color it was when you got it

Re: Does anyone have a novapelle Wested???

The hanger pic was taken 8 months and 2 Pecards applications after I got the jacket, while the outdoor pics are from the day I got it.
