I don't know...It seems like 'taking the long way around', going with a company with no rep around these parts... For a jacket that's already inaccurate and highly questionable, by the photos (or near lack thereof) on their site.
For that kind of $$, just go with a Wings, (or Wested, for that matter) and be done with it.....What's stopping you?
Maybe i'm just missing something....

Re: san diego leather?
I bought a San Diego Leather Indy jacket for my 10-year old son last Halloween. I think they were working very fast to meet demand. They did have exceptional customer service, but I wasn't too impressed with the jacket. I had a Wested junior size the week prior (that I returned only due to my having ordered the wrong size - or my son growing a size in a week!), so I can make some comparisons.
Again, I think San Diego was working too fast as the shoulders weren't very carefully attached - a bit puffy on the sleeve side of the shoulder seam. Also, I found a hole in the leather below the collar - which I found to be a gouge in the leather under the lining. Definitely not screen accurate, but rugged leather, and fast service.
In no way did the jacket meet the quality of the Wested however. The Wested came in a lighter weight goatskin that just looked right - draped and everything - better for the smaller scale jacket. Also, the Wested was finished to the same standard as their adult coats - perfect shoulder seams, etc.
The San Diego has no side slits, a two piece back panel, collar snaps like a military A-2, and along with a regular inside wallet pocket, it has an inside map pocket like a G-1. Here are some pics:

I think you've gotten good advice. Go ahead and order a Wested if you want screen accuracy, or if you're not such a stickler for details, the US Wings is tougher.

Or, go the G&B if you want the highest quality and a very accurate jacket. Wested isn't quite as accurate yet, unless you custom order and that can go all over the place...

Re: san diego leather?
I second the Todd's suggestion. His jacket is cheaper than the SD Leather jacket and it is also, in my opinion, one of the most SA Raiders jackets. There ahve also been some great stories about how these jackets can take abuse. My cousin has one and it has held up very well. One jacket that comes to mind is Weston's. If your on a budget, I'd stay away from this jacket and go with Todd's.

Re: san diego leather?
I have not purchased SD Indy Jacket, but I have purchased two of their other Jackets. Both were very low quality. The snaps on my A2 collar were horribly uneven, the pocket buttons on my G1 both fell off within a week, and compared to Aero, Wested, and G and B, the leather quality itself leaves much to be desired.
