Snaps on the storm flap? you could ask Wings if they'd add them for you. Otherwise a shoemaker or tailor should be able to do it.

Since I posted on this thread last year I have aquired one more, a Todd's Standard, bringing the total to 4 jackets.

That means I have 3 more than I need, and at least one less than I want, as always.

2 Westeds (one an ugly ill constructed LC Dumbo Wing in Cow and one very nice CS in Nova)

I'd love to see pics of the dumbo LC, Cowboy. I've only seen the relatively sensible collars on the more recent LC's from Wested.

How bad were they?

Pretty bad. Do a search under Mad at Wested and you will find it. I will say that the new CS is a good jacet. THe leather and construction are good. My biggest complaint is that the handwarmer openings are just too small to use and the cargo pockets are the same. Cowboy

I have 2 TN raiders (one in shrunken lamb and one in goat)
1 Wested Raiders in washed goat
and I sold 1 Wested CS in novapelle

just one a indy jacket that was made for a texas lottery prize that i bought on ebay for 95 bucks ,i love it ! it has kept me pretty warm all winter long , but i hope to buy a todds jacket soon tho

the collar on the original LC was a dumbo collar.

on the one hero jacket the collar was not pointy but had very well rounded tips.the collar was very wide and untapered to the neck.

the older collar design from wested is SO much closer to the original then what they are today...the current LC collars look more like the CS pointy collar..thats wrong..

but,... one of the original LC had a pointy collar, but still not as pointy as the CS collar....

when I get my next LC I will have the huge dumbo collar...

Just One... my Wested. And it's all I need. I love having one trusty jacket and one hat. I never did understand having a closet full of multiples (could just be that SA doesn't mean much to me so I don't see the point in ordering new jackets all the time trying to match one frame from one scene from one of the movies where Harrison's arm was raised a certain way and the light hit the leather from a particular angle showing a texture in the leather that wasn't there in the previous scene, etc..... but if you like that sorta stuff more power to ya!! ;-) ).

Like with my Fed IV Deluxe, my Todd's custom is the only Indy-style item I own of its type. I'm not so much a collector as many on this forum are (partly a money decision

). Also, I attach a sentimental significance to the things I own like this, and it's harder for me to do if I own more than one of its kind. It's like each piece of gear has its own story or something to that effect. Unlike the leather jacket, I can see myself getting another hat in a different color (e.g., gray). Aside from subtle differences in each film, the jacket doesn't lend itself to much variation.

I currently own two jackets. A Wested Raiders in novapelle and a Todd's standard. I hope to add a Wested LC, in novapelle or horse hide, later this year. Then I feel I would be covered for Spring, Fall, and Winter with three jackets.

My son has a US Wings little Indy that he should get several years of wear out of.
