Magnoli MKVII Bag Strap... advice needed

Post by Indiana Jonesy »

When i bought the bag from Magnoli I also bought the strap to go with it. The one i got was the one for $39.00 in medium brown.

Is this the more SA one for the Indy MKVII bag?

I see there is also another strap he has for sale (Delux version)... are these more SA? If so which colour and length?:

If someone could let me know.

Cheers!!

The strap used in Raiders was medium brown with grooves on the edge and a flat slider buckle. The later straps (with little variation) were dark brown (sometimes VERY dark brown) with roller buckles in different configurations.

Kind regards,
Magnoli

Either the standard or deluxe in brown with flat slider. The difference between the two is simply in leather. The deluxe is a thicker, hand-finished leather.

Indy,

I've got the $39 Bag Strap/Rifle Sling, but I want to get the $46 version.

I use pretty much all of the length of the $39 strap for the bag to hang correct. Now for the $46 you can choose length...

... so i want to ask, for someone who is 6 foot tall (1.83 meters), how long would I need to order the strap for the buckle to sit in the middle like Indy (and the bag just below the waiste)?

Cheers!!!

The rule of thumb is to order your height in the bag length. If you are 6' tall, order a 72" strap.

Also, if you're on the portly side, like myself, add a few more inches. How many? Well, I guess that depends on how big you are. As a guide, I'm a few inches shy of 6' tall, my belly measures 50" around, and I need a 70 to 72 inch strap.
