I got an email from Gemma today stating that they just started the cut this week and it will take another 3 weeks to expect delivery (early/mid-Jan. for me it looks like
).

I thought it was stated they started the cut for the 40's on time, or is this reference to yours and other sizes?

I ordered a 50 on the 29th of October. I guess a bigger size requires a bigger cut but does that require more time?...hmm...

I ordered a 44 on Halloween. I figured I'd get it by Christmas but if not no worries.
When I found out about it's slimfit design AFTER I had ordered and which did not take into account, I decided it may be in my best interest to drop a few pounds to ensure proper fit.
This just gives me more time.

I think it's safe to say Wested is incredibly busy at the moment.
I'm trying to concentrate on other things now, and will just have a pleasant surprise when my Temple jacket arrives when I least expect it!

Not sure it's that much in the way of an update, but I found out Wednesday that my jacket has been cut (ordered on the 29th).

Ok thank you for clarifying that...I was informed my jacket has been cut, but unfortunately, I selected a size too small. Oh well, we'll see how it turns out. Maybe I'll get lucky

Knibs, cant you adjust the side straps using the sliders? That should enlarge the jacket..right?

Ya, the sliders only widen it. The thing I am worried about is the front, where the pockets are bc on my current Wested, it seems a little short. The shoulders are fine. For example...

oh, hmm...I thought the sliders, at least in my case, gave it room. Well, one size should be ok. I ordered a 48 a while ago when I wear a 50. Loosened the sliders and fit perfect. Well, I guess we just have to wait and see! Good luck!

Hmm, I was told my jacket was already cut but I ordered a 50.
Probably best to just forget it as much as possible and be surprised when it arrives.

I think so. There are a lot still unaccounted for, or this site counts for a minuscule number of ToDs ordered.
Looks good Piers!

I called Wested today. I was told it would ship this Monday. I ordered Oct 30th. Hopefully I'll get amended side vents.

Do any of the ToD jackets received so far have the top of the back panel extend to the shoulder seam? Mine falls about 1/4 - 3/8 " short on each side.
Perhaps this is how the NH jacket was? There aren't any good detail pics of the back of teh NH jacket that have been posted to tell.

Now that so many of these jackets have arrived, can some of the TOD owners let us know whether you submitted you actual tailored measurements with your order, or simply the fill-in-the-blank jacket sleeve, back lengths on the Wested website order page?
Thanks.

Same as Piers and Kevin. I submitted only the mesurements requested in the drop-down order form on Wested's site. No other requests or measurements were given.
Kind regards,

I just used the drop down fill in the blanks for mine and the result was the best fitting jacket I've ever received from Wested.
