Well, I'm still waiting for my Fed Dlx to show up at my door step. But it's been raining quite a bit here in Central Texas, lately, and I don't want to get my hat soaked the first time I wear it. So do you guys recommend Scotchguarding the hat? Or is there some other kind of weatherproofing treatment that would work better?
Thanks!

I always give a light misting of standard Scotchgard on all my fedoras as soon as I get them, allowing them to completely air dry after application. I've had no problems what so ever with all makes and models of fedoras, except with Stetson, which bleeds REGARDLESS of what you put on it. Regards. Michaelson

Good to know, Michaelson, as my Rain and Stain is running low . I kind of figgured that but didn't want to risk my hat *shudder*
It's fine if it gets run over, blood stained, or soaked in sewage water whilst on an adventure...but if it gets wrecked sitting at home on my hat stand....AH!

Farn
