Don't take this the wrong way, but that is very British.
I've found that while many companies in Britain have a web presence, even on-line-ordering, they just don't function well with email and telephone correspondence. It just isn't always taken as seriously as formal written correspondence. Here in the US such formal correspondence between buyers such as ourselves and companies is less common these days, email has taken it's place.

I have to say that my communication with Wested has been outstanding lately. If the jackets come (a ToD and LC custom) as I ordered, it will be a very nice experience all around. Hopefully, everyone's problems will start to rectify soon.

I havent written a letter in years. I've found email to work alot better when contacting companies to oder goods.
