Hi All
Thought you may all be interested in my latest DVD production “Australian Whipcracking for Kids” This is presented by the Wicks Family Whipcrackers from Gunnedah, NSW. The DVD is an amazing showcase of Australian Whipcracking from a passionate Aussie family. The Wicks’ have travelled Australia promoting whipcracking as a unique family sport.
With Brooke (11 years), Katie (15years), and Daniel (17 years) you will be shown the basics right through to Daniel’s own advanced routines. All 3 kids are Australian Champions and Daniel is also an Australian Bullock Whip Champion, which he demonstrates how to use on the DVD.
The DVD also features highlights of the Wicks Family competing at the 2008 AWPA Tasmanian Whipcracking Championships in Launceston, Tasmania. Their website is www.whipcrackers.com.au
Although the title may make you think their is nothing in this dvd for you, I think you would be pleasantly suprised. The Wick's and myself wanted to bring accross what is possible for kids to acheive in this sport, hence the title, but it there is definately something in this dvd for the beginner and the advanced.
This DVD will be available in the USA from www.midwestwhips.com sometime in February. Paul was the first to recieve this DVD and no doubt will make some comments. Robby also has a copy on the way, and he has asked me to review his dvd's too, which when I get time I will sit down and watch.
Kind Regards
Simon

Hi Simon,
I'm very curious for your DVD, and I think, it'll be helpful to change - and raise! - the image of whipcracking here.
So I hope it's on it's way and I'm looking forward to the comments and reviews about it!
Kind Regards,
Robby

Here we go!
I received my copy today and was very curious about all that.
It’s amazing what these kids can do with their whips! First the
single cracks and then these complex routines. Great to watch.
It’s all nothing about Indy, but that’s okay. It’s more about the art
to crack a whip in general. But every Indy fan who’s interested to
learn more about cracking a whip in a very decent way, to watch
real professionals doing their performances, should take a look.
Youtube is filled with people, wielding a whip in more or less
different directions - hitting trees or sometimes themselves…
Here you can see real great combinations and routines. What
impressed me the most, was the fact, that the youngest of the
Wicks family - Brooke - is just 11 years old and has already won
2 AWPA Australian Championship titles in her age group.
They’re performing their routines in a way that tells everybody
else - including me - to step back with respect.
Great DVD, Simon!
Kind Regards, Robby
