DP (complete w/ pin) spotted in Bruce Campbell movie

Post by squidkidd »

Just got back from the theater here in Portland last night watching Bruce Campbell's latest, My Name is Bruce (definitely worth checking out if you're a fan), and lo and behold, the sheriff of the town was wearing a DP! You can even see the Indiana Jones pin they left on the ribbon! Given the nature of the film, I'm pretty sure they probably left that on there on purpose. The only picture I could find was a screen grab from the trailer:

Finally, a screen accurate DP! Well, SA for a completely different movie, anyway.

Bruce is great. I've been a fan since Brisco County Jr.. He's great in Burn Notice also. If you haven't seen it it's on USA Network.

Yes, that is the fur felt one. I own both and the difference between them is as that of day and night. Of course, the difference between the fur felt and a real hat is also that of a day and night (which does not mean that the wool felt one is a real hat).
