Wested Pants Fit
I'm thinking of buying some Wested pants. [possibly putting a WTB in Marrakesh]
I tried a search for the fit on the pants and it mostly returned the obvious jacket threads.
So, how do the pants fit? I'm not wanting them overly baggy but not skin tight either. Where do they fall in approximate fit. I know everyone's different so that does factor into someone's interpretation of fit.
Any help/advice/thoughts would be appreciated!
Or should I just pony up the extra and get some Magnoli pants?

Hello,
I would suggest you to wait a bit longer to order pants from Wested. Peter copied the patterns from the original screen used Raiders pants and he will offer a new design. The only problem is that I don't know when
The current Wested pants are very nice. Made from screen accurate cavalry twill wool. The colour is very good and deviates very little from the original trousers. You should however order them unfinished and bring them to a tailor to have them altered. Be sure to alter the inseam length and to remove any excess material near crotch...Depending on your body structure the tailor will decide how to alter them.

I need some help with the Wested pants fitting as well.
My waist line is a 36", but the description says this; Leg unfinished 35"
Does this mean the pants are only 35" long?
My pants would have to be 43" long (my legs are a 110 cm long)
Just want to make sure the pans won't be 8" too short for my legs.
If possible I don't want to order pants from Magnoli Clothiers as I live in Denmark. If I buy stuff from the EU, I don't have to worry about VAT or importstax. Shipping would also cost much less.
Hope you guys can help.

Greatdane,
I think that 35'' unfinished leg means measuring it from the inside crotch to the end. I bought a 34 and I am 1.72 in height. The excess material was more or less 10 cm. With that I made both a hem and new backflap pockets.
If you are not sure you can write to Peter or Gemma and ask them for more details. If I was you though I would suggest you to wait for the new trousers and shirt run which they might be available in the near future.
