Your feet are going to thank you. An investment, yes, but an investment in comfort. Enjoy your adventures in them... :whip: ...to the back country, the backyard, or the mall.

I just got mine and they are just starting to break in. They are the most comfortable things in the world. They also force your posture straighter :D.
They are just fantastic and look great too!
Enjoy 'em!

I don't think that has anything to do with the shoe construction or quality. I think that posture improves from the pride in wearing them :D

The fact that they have a heel and nike's don't, totally changes the way I stand and walk. I almost look like i'm strutting around like a snob!
They honestly change my posture, maybe high heels would do the same, but who wants to wear THOSE!?

These boots are great! Well worth the money. I'm sure I will get 10+ years from them.

Randy

Got my new Aldens same day as you!

They are great boots, I agree. Whether physcological or otherwise, they do seem to improve posture - being a natural sloucher, it takes a little getting used to.... How's your breaking in been going?

I have doused my boots with plain old KIWI brown shoe polish, which softens up the leather nicely and slightly darkens down the colour. They look good.

Anyway, here's to many adventures (both sides of the Atlantic) in our new boots!

Hi! I to used Kiwi brown polish on my boots. It worked well. I do have brown Pecards on the way but I wanted to see how the Kiwi product would work.

I need to get use to them. I'm use to wearing sneakers. I also have a hard time buying sneakers in a wide size so I would always by a size bigger. So, I'm use to a sloppy shoe. These shoes fit well but still are very
stiff and snug. Maybe I should have bought a EEE but I'm sure that these boots will mold to my feet.

Enjoy your new boots!!
