My advice, maybe you should get 36, or wash that and hope it will shrink

Hi Oby,

1.7 meters is 66.93 inches or you are almost 67 inches tall. To me, the jacket looks slightly long on you for a Raiders jacket. Ideally, for a Raiders jacket, when considering the length, it should fit 2 inches below the belt. 3 inches below the belt for a Last Crusade jacket, as the LC jacket is slightly longer. The sleeve width looks good, although I prefer a jacket with slightly shorter sleeves, maybe 1/2 inch shorter.

As to your chest measurement, you might consider having someone take a tape measure around the widest part of the chest. Report this exact measurement to him, as he adds a few inches to the width of the chest when these jackets are made. Measure your new Wested's length starting from the back of the jacket, measure from the bottom of the collar stand to the end of your jacket. This will give you a perspective of how long your jacket is and how long would you personally like the jacket to be, that is, do you want it any shorter, and if so, how much? Ultimately, it is a matter of personal preference, but the Raiders jacket was designed for a short fit, so Indy could get to his gun and whip easily, and not get tangled up in too much jacket.

How does it feel wearing it? If it feels good, heck with 'em. Wear it in good health and enjoy it.
Personally I'd rather a jacket be a hair big than too small. You can at least layer underneath it in cold weather, and it looks just fine on you in your photos, so lock and load and don't worry about it. It will settle in with regular wear too.

thx i agree :) .....maibe i'll take a look in the future for a costumized jacket (like 38 as chest and other part of it as a 36).

I wear it good and i feel it good....maibe they have right it's a little bit long...but i feel good on it! :)
