Its fer sitting on, silly!

Ok, I think I may have single handedly killed this thread, but I couldn't resist! ;) I'm evil.

So as my penance, here is a famous image of a members-only jacket from one of our favorite 80's movies.

We've had folks go ballistic when threads go this route, and it was all just meant in fun.

This way, question asked, answer given, carry on....no problem to diffuse later, and no tangled thread to unsnarl. :)
The sad thing is, I know people who could read this thread and still not know which is the real answer.

I saw a customer earlier today at Lowe's wearing a MO leather jacket. I couldn't help but to chuckle

Yep, that's very true, Zombie. :-k But at least half the fun now is sorting through all the answers and try and pick one you want. At least ONE of them is correct! ;-)

By the way, you'll be proud to know my wife FINALLY tossed the only one I ever owned (given to me by MY Mom for Christmas back in the 70's) that was Aqua Marine blue green in color!!! I can NOT believe I've had it this long! #-o :[

TOSSED IT!! No listing in the bazaar? Nothing on that auction site?

People would have been bidding for the rights to pump Pecard's out of that thing!! Just think of it - a leather jacket - Michaelson - 30+ years!!! That's enough to recondition every jacket ever pictured here!

One of my favorite scenes from the movie Shallow Hal:

Rosemary: Is that a Member's Only jacket?
Mauricio: Yes.
Rosemary: So, what are you, the last member?

Yeah, I think it's time to sell my Indygear, get a Members Only Jacket, some striped Zubaz, a pair of checkered Van loafers, and grow my late 1980's mullet back.

Yeah, that's the ticket.... :Plymouth:

In the beginning of Charlie Wilson's War, Tom Hanks can be seen wearing a brown leather Member's Only jacket.

Why not! I've seen folks dressed like that at our local Wal-Mart after midnight, so you'd fit right in around here.

Not to get too far off topic but I loved that movie too. I wonder of there is a correlation between the people that loved The Goonies and those that truly love KotCS.

I can't resist a 4 year old thread- I had a black Members Only jacket in the early 80s. In my mind, I was Han Solo in ESB every time I wore it.

If you wear one long enough your blood will smell like cologne and you will never have another awkward moment...

I wore one just like this in the late 70s when heading out to all the dance clubs in San Diego. What were we thinking?
There's a leather one on eBay.

....if you have to ask, what is a member's only jacket?....then you are obviously NOT a member...? :P
