Turn-around time

Post by rick5150 »

Curiosity again. What is the current turn-around for a Wested? I ordered mine on September 2 and am anxiously awaiting the e-mail from Peter saying, "Your order has been shipped..." I can't take it anymore, as my receiving this jacket will prompt the selling of about 3 of my Westeds...

Peter said that this week would be the start of his Christmas order, so it would take about a month.

Since you ordered yours at the start of September, expect it any day now. I think I waited for 5 weeks on mine and I ordered it late summer.

I ordered mine near the end of September, around the 27th...so maybe in the next 2 weeks?

When did you order it?

Well, I sent back a jacket I had ordered in June (I think) and never worn because it was too small. But I shipped that jacket back on 15 September, which would probably have taken a week to get to Wested. My wait may be shorter than the usual because it is a remake rather than a new order.

Forget everything I posted about delivery times. I got home at 5:45 pm and the jacket was waiting for me at the top of the steps. It looks great and has most of the modifications that I asked for. It looks great!

Now, where did I put that acetone?...

I was visited by the jacket fairy today as well. Eleven days sooner than expected. I got mine predistressed, so no need for acetone for me.

I'll take some pictures tomorrow when the light is better and post them shortly thereafter.
