I would guess that it will be KT first... He seems to have one of everything, so I am assuming he will get one of these new TODs as well... Of course, we all know about assuming... :)

Hey, Holt, just curious, I know it's OT but what do you think about TN Raiders? I know you possess a lot of great-looking jackets....are you getting one?

I dont have the money to spare right now.I thought I did,but something turned up,as usual.

I think the TN jacket looks really great.and if I was to get one I would have out of curiousity....I know its a hero jacket.but I dont think its the jacket what I call the hero...

I am having wested making me a new replacement jacket...so I dont know if I really need a TN.sometimes I find myself with to many jackets and non to wear. its funny,I cant decide which one is my favorite to wear.so I think its better for me to cut down and turn away from other jackets on the market....if I dont do that I will never have a well worn in jacket...

but w'll see ;-)

Please let this TOD jacket be 'the one'!
At the very least, we have seen the the jacket that we should be getting;
both in the original that is to be replicated, and a prototype that just looks just like it.
I like to think it will be the most screen accurate jacket out there, even if it is a from a film that isn't exactly my favourite (I hate the lowering-a-guy-into-molten-lava scene)!
Any day now folks, any day....!

My sister is moving back to Canada from the UK, so I asked if there was any way the jacket would be ready by early December, and I got this reply this morning
at the moment we are waiting on the patterns being made for the jackets,as soon as we have them all done we will be able to make your jacket for you
so we're not quite there yet.. I must now go count to ten.. in Greek

...That...makes no sense at all. Still making patterns? Early December?
I don't understand, but I guess I'll stop waiting at the mailbox each morning for a while.. :(

Yes, good news indeed!
Please please please Peter, let all the pockets look as good as the prototype ones. Don't change a thing. I love them.
The pockets are the first thing I look at when I excitedly rip open the parcelforce package containing yet another fine Wested jacket! :)

It might be worth posting the new jacket in the Vendor section too Peter?
I'm sure most of those who followed the jacket thus far have already ordered one, but perhaps some folks missed it. Would be a good enough way of letting everyone a new style is available.

I didn't mean he should post pictures of one, just to make a post in the vendor section letting others know that this new TOD design is now available, for those that might have missed it or not checked the new website lately.

Two-prong side-buckle? Excuse my ignorance, but is that what was on the screen used ToD? You mean like a belt buckle catch? didn't know that one.

yes sir. that was confirmed looooooong ago as Noel Howard allowed folks to ask questions about that jacket as well as let some fans handle it. this was captured in the TOD specs that were on the old indygear website (was it sergei's specs???) ;-)

As far as the screen used ToD, the research in this small thread leads us to believe this is as close a repro of the ToD jacket as we're going to get

number of the jacket? I ordered mine Nov 4th and got 48 . This is five days after people were saying the first sixty were gone.I already emailed

The initial listing had a low sell out limit, something like 12 jackets. It was a default setting.

AFAIK the invoice number doesn't have anything to do with the 'edition number' of the jackets, it's just the invoice number. :)

The first jackets to roll off the machines should be the size 40's. Sally got appendicitis and was hospitalised before she could do the other sizes, though I believe the grading has been done now.

Thank's KT. That's what I was hinting at, the last two numbers are Invoice related.

I would think it would be pretty easy to look at the last 2 numbers for those that got the jackets before the website showed sold out. Do they go up to 12 and not repeating? I just think it would be interesting.

My purchase went through before the website showed 'sold out' I'm sure a few more did after me too.

I talked to gemma on Nov 4th before I ordered and she said if I ordered
now I should get one.I'm not clear if she meant the jacket with the original vintage hardware or not.I didn't get the impression she knew what I was talking about when i mentioned the vintage hardware for the first 60 or so jackets. When I emailed her about the edtion number
being the last two number I got no reply. With the exchange rate and customs this jacket will run me close to$500.00 CDN.It would be nice to know.I'll try calling Peter later this week.

Vintage hardware is unused old obsolete stock as discussed by Peter in the other thread, and is duplicate of what was used on the original jacket. It's appearance and markings differ from current offerings.
You'll find pictures of the 'vintage' in the other thread. I don't know if there are specific pictures of current hardware

I think originally Peter mentioned having 60 snap sets and 100 zips.
Since he's talking 65 in this thread I assume he's sourced more snaps. So the total with vintage hardware could go up again.
