wested hours

Post by indy1936 »

Does anyone know Wested's business hours? I didn't see this posted on their website. Is Peter available before they open? I need to give him a call in the morning.

Thanks!

9.30-5.30 UK time. (there is an 'About Us' section on the ekm site)

If you are in the US phoning in the morning is a good option as it means you are calling the UK mid to late afternoon.

what about the delivery time for a custom wested today?

Post by IndyAl »

And what about the delivery time for a custom wested today? no info about this at the web page now. We could read the FAQ at the old page...
Maybe someone that ordered recently?

21 days + 3-4 days?

In theory, it is as you say, though sometimes it takes longer, depending upon how busy they are at the time when you place your order.

Does anyone know if Peter is in on Saturdays?

Need help fellas.
Ordered my custom Wested Raiders HH last week, and supplied all needed information in the "Special Requests" part. But i ran out of free space and navent gave a link to a picture demonstrating how exactly i did the measures.. Send 3 emails on 3 different adresses, no response. Two days ago recived letter about my order processed.
Any suggestions about what should i do? I am worried about sleeves, i measured them from shoulder seam, but i heard they should me measures from the center of the heck..

You may want to call them, just to see if they received your measurements, etc. They have been very busy with holiday orders.

Consider writing what you want to say in an email and then call? Just a thought.

Wested measures sleeves from the shoulder seam too. You are probably ok.

Even if it has been cut it should not be an issue right now to adjust the sleeves before it has been assembled.

How long are your arms?

If the sleeves sound exceptionally long (30"+) or exceptionally short (20"-) they will usually check!

Well my parametres are
Jacket Size: 48
Sleeve Length: 25.5
Back Length: 26

But problem is, i measured chest from T-shirt, so i wanted to make additional space. And i did this picture with measures in centimeters:

A and F parametres measured from T-shirt, so please make additional space.
B C D parameters made from my jacket.

Then you should explain that to her. You may need more space in the chest!

What is your actual chest size in inches? (Measured).

100 cm is approx 40".

48" seems big! Size 42" or 44" Maybe if you like very loose.

From shoulder seam to shoulder seam my jacket is 53 centimeters. I always buy i 48-50 size jackets.
Ah, now i get it, i messed up the size. I measured it by continental sizes, but i needed UK size which is -10. So i need 80s fit, and dont need jacket to be loose, so i should take 40? I mean measures of my chest it IS a jacket size right?

I think we might be talking at cross purposes. When we talk about wested jackets we normally talk in inches. A european size 50 is actually a 40" chest. (A ready reconer is to take the Euro size and subtract 10 to get the Inch sizing).

Yep, i get it now.
So i need:
Jacket Size: 40 (+ add a bit of additional space)
Sleeve Length: 25.5
Back Length: 26
Waist around: 32 (+ add a bit of additional space)

Is that looks ok to you Kt Templar?

:) That looks a pretty normal Size 40 to me! :) It might help to underline that all sizes you have given are in inches. But to be honest, no one would expect them to be in CM unless you were Kate Moss. ;)
