Just for a laugh, I thought I'd share. I contacted Western Costume about 2 months ago to try and get SA pants in time for my halloween costume. They replied back and said "sure, we can do that"........for $700 US !!!
I never replied back! Luckily, that was about the time Peter put the Noel Howard collection on his site for sale, and I was able to get 2 pairs.
Don't you just love a story with a happy ending?!

my wested's look too close to CS pants (as they used wested's samples to create the pants). i'd take the plunge for $200, but thanks to wested, my limit is set to that.ReturningSon wrote:Would they lower the price for a group order? I wouldn't mind paying around $250 for a pair of SA CS pants...but thats just me!
$700 USD for pants is quite atrocious.....well tailored pants with top shelf materials should never exceed $300 to $400. i don't know what's included in the difference......perhaps 'frank' should deliver them to you for that kind of green. ;-)

The Wested pants in '07 up to the present are not made from the original patterns and the pocket flaps are still NOT completely correct. Do you think they copied the sample exactly? Anyone know if they used the same material?
Did they use a sample Wested shirt as well? The PICS I've seen look like it, but watching the Making of stuff on the DVD I freeze framed some shots of the shirt and the sleeve placket near the cuffs is different.

when peter came over for the leather jacket negotiations, i read that he also left them with samples of his pant and shirt offerings. i am assuming that wester costumes did their thing to create the hero shirt and pants and in doing so, changed some things (like the design of the pocket flaps which look to be very raiders-ish). the cut of the pants and how the hem looks taperred is very 'wested' as far as i see.sithspawn wrote:Indiana G wrote:
