Need a Favor.....

Post by Jonny Whip Crack »

I'm looking for a screenshot or Indy arriving at the venice peer or shorly after in the LC, or at least a good shot of him and his suit. I'm off to Las Vegas for New Years and want to get the same suit to go with my fedora. I noticed Magnoli sells the tie. Someone told me the suit is a light brown, some grey. I want to be able to print this picture off to take with me to the suit store. I'm not computer savey and hoped someone could post a couple good resolution shots of this for me. I would really appreciate it. In advance, thanks!

There are several photos of this suit at TheRaider: http://www.theraider.net/films/crusade/gallery_01.php

And here is one of my finished Venice Suits:

Wow, VERY nice Magnoli! Love the design.
The confusing part though is that your description says the suit shown is a medium brown, but it really looks to be a shade of medium gray on my monitor. And the dark brown actually looks a shade darker than the black. :-k

Wow, sounds like the hat debate again, doesn't it? Brown, or gray?

That's exactly what I was thinking. It's all in the perception though.

Seems like the old debate about the "Clipper Fedora" being brown or grey, has come up again... Maybe it's a thing SS and GL has put together to ensure that discussions will continue for ever! I guess we will have to wait for an official statement OR a release af the movie in even better resolution

The suit in the photo posted by Magnoli in this thread shows a really great looking medium to dove gray color on my monitor, yet that is the same color listed as medium brown on the website. So is what I'm calling gray actually brown? Or vice versa?
