That's a great looking lid! I'd love to branch out from Indy fedoras and get a nice Bogie. I just sold the closest thing I had (it was too small), but don't his hats usually have a bit of taper to them? This one still looks like it has stovepipe sides.

i've never seen a center bash "hollow" like that. is that the way she'll sit on the owner or will it 'telescope'?

that's not my cup of tea at all. i would prefer a diamond crease in lieu of that. it does echo an era when all the gents wore fedoras though....especially the first pic. i do love the variety that you're making oak......seems like your right at the fore-front of getting fedoras back in mens' wardrobes. kudos.

I'm naming all my non-Indy hats after people that I knew that have passed. This is named after my farther in law who passed away about 12 years ago.

It's a 5 1/2 inch crown with the brim of 2 3/4 with 1/4 inch off the sides.

The top crease isn't my bag, but I love the look. It's a nice change from all the Indy hats we have! As always, great work.
