Making an Indy whip

Post by knibs7 »

Ok, I know this has been covered before, but does anyone have pictures of EVERY STEP of how to make an Indy bullwhip? I decided I'm finally gonna give it a shot in my free time. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Umm...no. Not that I know of.
You should start with How to Make Whips by Edwards, and after that Whips and Whip Making by Morgan. The latter describes the process in detail, but will not make much sense with out the foundation of Edwards book.
Also... Bernie at www.em-brand-whips.com has a great DVD.
Good luck,
Ron

David Morgan's Whips and Whipmaking (2nd edition) tells you exactly how to make an Indy bullwhip, but there are no pictures.

And then after you've read Bernie's tutorial, order his whip making DVD. It is worth every penny.
