23 Crack Street

Post by Whip Basics »

Next week will start the three days shooting of Whip Basics Vol. II. Now there's a big discussion between the editors, the producer and me.
Point is, that a routine of 23 cracks in a row should be teached. But... I think, it's too much for the second step to offer a that large routine.
My idea was, to split that thing in two. 10 or 11 cracks as one complete routine in Vol. II, and the same - again as as a complete routine -
in Vol. III. And then the explanation, how to put these two routines together to a single, large routine. The editors and the producer like
to have it all together. Vol. III then focused on target work and wraps. I told them that I think it's simply too much, to tell such a large
routine in one step. Please tell me what you think. Perhaps I'm wrong. Perhaps I'm right. I'd be happy if you'd share your thoughts on that.

Thanks and take care,
Robby

If you are teaching all the cracks and combos required to complete the "23" in Vol. 2 why not have it in Vol. 2 ??
Theoretically the student will have the necessary skills to do it, and rather than wait for vol. 3 would probably progress on their own.

Having really enjoyed the Vol 1 and having learned a lot from it, my opinion is split them up. I am a beginner and am still perfecting a couple of the cracks (truth be told I just cannot get the underhand-it eludes me) and have just started trying a few combination's. SO a second one that builds on that one with a 10 or 11 crack routine sounds good to me. Then add another set of tricks and make the whole 23 crack routine. Just my $0.02 worth.

I'm glad that the Vol. I tutorial was helpful to you. If you have problems with the underhand crack...
Perhaps you could make a small movie with your handy (or one of your friends) when you
practice the underhand, and mail it to me. Just crack it 5 or 6 times, that should be enough.
Perhaps I can help you to find out where the gremlin is hiding.

Take care, Robby
