Which Indy movie are you going for, blueoakleyz? I see Raiders, but a little more moustache needed IMO.

Ugh. The genes of my family mean that its impossible to grow any facial hair. Like, at all.

I suppose its ok though that we're guaranteed a full head of hair until the day we die.

Lol i can do it all.

I did take a pic which reminded myself of looking JUST like the stunt guy from raiders when he took a pic right next to Harrison (on one of the extra materials from the first trilogy DVD boxset). So I guess I look like Harrison, one person removed.
When I lose 20-30 lbs I think I'll look pretty good

If anyone can't grow some stubble and wants to do a photo shoot or go in costume, theater makeup can be used. There is actually a small sponge that can be used to apply costume makeup that will look like stubble.

I just shaved my 26 or 27 year old beard completely off. It took me about a week to get the scruffy look I was going for if I costumed as Indy back. Boy, oh boy, do I miss those years of not having to shave every day or so.

Hey whipitgood,
You guys both look GREAT! Sorry I was a bit out of contact for a few days... work "STUFFFF".
I was REALLY dissappointed when your e-mail said the jacket was too big (but THEN relieved - and happy for you - that you sold it so quickly)... I wish you all the best of luck in any FUTURE efforts to get the right jacket for you.
After I got the e-mail from you I WAS thinking about writing back: "Hey, after all the e-mail 'back & forth' I'd STILL love to see a picture of you from the Hallowe'en Party as S.O.C. Indy"... but I didn't know if it was a sore point for you.
But this photo sure makes it look like you had a pretty great, fun time!
(I've gotta ask, though... please satify my curiosity on this... your girlfriend - assuming that's who's in the photo with you - who is she dressed as? ...or is that just how she dresses...?)
;-)
All the Best,
Mitch

Hey Mitch,

The jacket thing worked out for the best, as I really can't afford to be spending anymore money on gear at the moment. I actually sold it within 45 minutes after delivery :) So no worries man and thanks again for going the extra mile. We've got some really nice people here at COW.

As for the girl, it's my friend April and she's Sweeney Todd. My girlfriend couldn't believe how many women wanted to take pictures with me in my Indy costume. The power of the gear never ceases to amaze me. Here's a pic of my girlfriend. She's the Julie Newmar Catwoman.
She actually made her friend's Boy Wonder costume.

She works with my girlfriend and doesn't really like Halloween. We told her costumes were required at our party, so that was Mrs. Bundy's first time ever dressing up.

It looks good. Was NatiJones into the Geritol Indy look? With the grey hair you kind of got a George Clooney as Indy thing goin on. I think you should stick with it.

Robin the "Boy" Wonder, Wonder Woman AND a "Julie Newmar" Catwoman ALL at the same party?!
There is NOT a guy who visits this sight who doesn't envy you now, whipitgood...
(Consider THAT a good omen to turn around any other issues you might still have going on in your life...)
:)

And knibs7:
You're killing me here man...
Despite the fact that I wear pretty accurate "movie stubble" without even TRYING... EVERY OTHER DAY I still see a few more grey and silver hairs showing up on my head... and YOU'VE got to go and get yours DYED just to get the CS look?
:P
NOW I'm depressed...

I have the exact same issue haha! Guys in the family age really slowly, keep full heads of hair with color in it til they die, are tall and often freakishly strong...

but there wasn't that one gene that tells you to grow some ###### facial hair so you don't look like you're 17 when you're in your 20's. People think I'm in high school sometimes. Urg. I can get about a quarter inch of fuzz on my chin and upper lip and nowhere else on my face. About the ONLY part of my native american genes that showed up in my generation (other than getting a reddish skin tint when I tan).

So, I wonder if there's some shop that sells fake stubble...

haha

Ya, Nati likes it. Plus, I'm a stickler for SA, so I didn't wanna look like a 23 year old Indy when I should look like a 65 year old Indy. I'm not saying I look 65 either, but hopefully people got the effect I was going for Very Happy
Thanks for the comments y'all... They really made me laugh
