The professor gear thread...

Post by IndyK »

In another thread in this forum, there was talk about Indy's shoes in the New Haven scenes from CS. These shoes were Aldens 947 as some pointed out.

Now I'm seriously considering making my own Professor Indy outfit, so could anyone please help finding out where the rest of Indy's clothing came from?

We're talking jacket, shirt, pants, tie and belt. :)

Ive been thinking about putting this gear together. You'll have to let us all know how you get on with it. :)

Indy Magnoli sells a lot of Indy's clothing, including his 'professor gear', however I do not think he sells clothing from KotCS, just the first 3 adventures. :) Hope that helps.

The suit in the CS looks very similar to his other suits. Email Indy Magnoli and i'm sure he'll be able to help you out. He does custom stuff too, NOT just whats on his site.

Hey long time not seen you Indy-K! How do you do?

Could you post a link to the alden model from their website? I can only see names but not catalogue numbers.

Thanks for Your posts, I will inform if suddenly the correct items pops up.

Erri, I'm fine thanks. Two reasons for not being so active in this forum anymore is: 1) Me gear is complete and it would take some really fine new products to replace what I allready have. And 2) I actually liked KOTCS for what it was and had a really fun time watching it. That makes my opinion very uninteresting in here as it seems most members are very critical towards it :)

I found a link to the New Haven shoes in this thread:

But the link to the shoes is here: http://www.theshoemart.com/cgi-bin/cate ... t=30&rpro=

Thanks for the links Indy-K.

I understand your reasons and I may even agree, although there is always more accurate gear popping up here and there continiously, good excuse to stick around lol

I'd like to see if I can find the LC professor suit at a domestic clothier. I would love to have Magnoli's version, but I can't swing $500 for a suit, especially since I don't work in a suit.

I'd love to get one of his [Magnoli] Professors Jackets, I've always had a fascination with that style and Indy just happened to wear one! 8)

Yeah, I totally love that look. Poked around mens wearhouse for that type of thing, but didn't find it.

Indy wore a lot of tweed. If you can't find it local, there should be stuff on ebay or at thrift shops if you have a decent one. I know Texas Raider has a vintage jacket that's almost a dead ringer for the Pankot jacket.

Magnoli has several of the ties, including the Pankot bow tie. Also, my favorite bow tie source is http://www.beautiesltd.com/?gclid=CM7tl ... swodJhp6uQ
