I've been out of commission for months now - building a new house, in a new job, back in graduate school at age 57, burying the dog, raising the kids. But today I got a notice from Shoe Mart in CT that they had 405 2nds in my size and, even better, that they would only charge me $160 because fo the mark on the toe. Wooooeeee! Totally broke, but I finagled my aged mother into giving them to me as an early Christmas present. I put in my request a year ago, at least, and had completely forgotten. Here's the pic he sent me. The mark on the toe just adds to the character of the boots, IMHO. Anyway, for just around 1/2 price, I snatched 'em!
Back into Indy with a new pair of Aldens!
